How to find good books
I get frustrated when I go to the Library or to a book sale and either come out empty handed or with something I later don't like.
I know I'm not the only one that happens to.
So today I am going to share some tips that help me find good books.
1. Use a website or app that gives you recommendations.
What Should I read next? Is an easy to use website. You just type in an author or book title and it will give you a list of books that are similar in style.
2.Make a list of what you are looking for.
This will keep you organized and on track of what you are looking for.
3. Look for books by your favorite authors.
Since those books are by your favorite author chances are you will like them.
4. Browse.
If you have the time, sometimes browsing will help you come across a hidden gem.
These tips don't guarantee that you will find good books, but they do help.
What about you? How do you find good books?

Words Spoken True book review
Title: Words Spoken True
Series: None
Author: Ann H. Gabhart
Genre: Historical Christian Fiction
Plot: Adrianne Darcy grew up helping her father with his newspaper The Tribune in Louisville, Kentucky.
The Tribune's rival The Herald has been taken over by Blake Garrett. Blake and Adrianne soon are bitter towards one another. Can they come together to help Louisville?
What I liked about this book: The first half was really interesting. I learned a lot about how newspapers work.
What I didn't like about this book: I didn't like the second half of the book. The characters started acting really different then they had previously.
A married couple discuss intimacy in marriage. The intimate scenes go into way too much detail.
Would I recommend this? If the second half would have been better I really would have liked this book. But because of that I don't recommend it.

On the Loose book review
Title: On the Loose
Series: Katie Parker Productions- book two
Author: Jenny B. Jones
Genre: Christian Teen Fiction
Plot: Katie Parker is finally coming to like her life in Inbetween, Texas.
A tornado hits Inbetween and Katie's foster mom receives some bad news. Can Katie give God control of the storms in her own life?
What I liked about this book: It was funny, but it also had a more serious side than the first book in the series.
What I didn't like about this book: Like the first book in the series there is some crude language. A guy in the book is known to be a ' player' and he is mentioned a lot.
Would I recommend this? Yes.

Bourne and Tributary book reviews
Title: Bourne & Tributary- Two Novellas
Series: River of Time
Author: Lisa T. Bergren
Plot: These two novellas pick up where Torrent left off.
In Bourne The Bettarrini sisters are hoping that the war will end and peace will finally come.
In Tributary Lia is suffering from PTSD. Can Lia overcome it to help her country?
What I liked about these books: It was nice to find out what Happened to Gabi and Lia after the battle at the end of Torrent. Since they are novellas ( short novels) they were really fast paced.
What I didn't like about these books: Talks of being intimate in marriage. Thankfully it didn't go into much detail.
Would I recommend them? Yes, to those who have read the other books in the series.

Little Letters: Second Edition
Dear Baroness Orczy,
Thank you for writing such a fast paced and well written historical novel. I can't wait to see how the Scarlet Pimpernel ends.
Dear God's not dead film,
I thought you were going to be a good, but kinda cheesy film. You are one of the best Christian films I have seen.
Dear God,
Thank you for the lovely Spring weather. I even enjoy the rain.
Dear Youtube,
Could you not tempt me so much? You give me so many video suggestions I could be online all day.
Dear Sunglasses,
It has been a long time since I have found a pair that I actually like.
I will be wearing you a lot this summer.
Dear blog,
I feel like I have been neglecting you. I will try to update your look soon.
